Privacy Policy

Kayell is a family-oriented service designed for parents and legal guardians. It collects only the information needed to create, secure and deliver a personalized film. The service operator and data controller are identified in the Legal Notice.

Information we process

• customer email address, guest-session and optional-account data;
• drawings, room photographs and guided-story answers;
• generated previews and completed films;
• one-time purchase status and technical billing identifiers supplied by the payment processor Stripe;
• security, device and network information needed to prevent abuse;
• marketing attribution only where the required consent has been given.

Information we do not request

We do not ask for the child's name, school, exact age or date of birth. Room photographs must not contain a person, face, readable address, family photograph or private document. Never send card details to Kayell support.

Why we use information

We use information to perform the requested service, provide and recover access to a one-time purchase, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and measure optional advertising only with explicit permission.

Service providers and international processing

Specialized providers may process limited information for hosting, private object storage, AI media generation, email delivery, security and billing. The payment processor Stripe processes payment information. Meta and TikTok receive only consented, minimized advertising-event data; uploaded media, prompts and child-related content are never sent to them.

Retention and security

Free guest sessions normally expire after seven days. Paid access and related media may be retained for the applicable access period so the customer can retrieve the film. Billing records may be retained longer where the payment processor or applicable law requires it. Kayell uses private storage, temporary signed links and access controls. Users can delete creations, and optional-account users can request account deletion.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw optional marketing consent. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. Contact accounts@kayell-app.com.
